At First Foundation Preschool, our curriculum integrates play-based learning with Montessori principles to foster holistic development. Children engage in hands-on experiences that promote cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and language growth within thoughtfully prepared environments. Educators observe and respond to each child’s unique pace and curiosity, adapting lessons to nurture critical thinking, self-expression, and confidence.
By combining purposeful exploration with structured guidance, our curriculum empowers children to develop independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. Through ongoing observation, documentation, and regular communication with families, we tailor our instructional goals and materials to meet each child’s developmental milestones, strengthening the home-school partnership.
We offer programs for children ranging from 6 weeks to 12 years old. If you have any questions about these programs, please feel free to contact us.
Our infants’ program emphasizes responsive caregiving—establishing secure attachment through comforting routines and sensory-rich interactions. Infants engage in gentle exploration, early language exposure, and small-motor strengthening in a nurturing, predictable environment where emotional and physical development are prioritized.
Toddlers explore independence through activity centers that support language, self-help, and social skills. Through sensory play, storytelling, music, and fine-motor tasks, children solidify vocabulary and begin early cognitive problem-solving within group interactions and free-play opportunities tailored to individual developmental readiness.
Our preschool curriculum integrates thematic projects and intentional instruction in literacy, math, science, and the arts. Children investigate through open-ended materials, collaborative play, and small-group lessons—building foundational academics, executive functioning, and creative expression. We honor both child-led discovery and guided learning opportunities.
School-age programming supports academic reinforcement, homework support, and social-emotional growth. Students engage in enrichment clubs (STEM, art, music), structured group activities, and collaborative learning that extend curricular themes into leadership, critical thinking, and peer collaboration.
Our Summer Programs continue academic and social development through immersive, themed STEM projects, creative arts, outdoor exploration, and field trips. These experiences engage children’s curiosity, reinforce school readiness, and provide energetic fun in a warm, inclusive atmosphere.
